Fun fact: I was always a fan of Daniel Johnston dating back to my first introduction to him in the mid-90s. When I delved back into his catalog in 2006/07, I started recording covers of several of his songs. This was among the first I did, using a cheap-o Stella acoustic guitar before adding layers of noise.
