Fun fact: My high school grunge band’s best-known song, expressing a then-contemporary look at the age-old disdain for jock culture. My friend Kevin prodded me into writing it, as I recall, after he repeatedly witnessed several girls’ basketball players cutting in line (then mocking the people behind them) at the “Snack Shack” in our cafeteria. So gloriously high school! I still like the guitar solo/noise section at the end.
